Tripod used. Post-processing mostly in RAW. Added a warming filter in Photoshop.

    Just awesome!

    0 Carrie

Reminds me of the forest in The Nightmare Before Christmas :)

    0 TPG

Excellent. Has a cinematic look to it.

    0 Jon

Really lovely. Normally autumn pictures seem dull and grey, this is wonderfull.

This looks like one of those early american paintings.

    0 Geoff

I really love this one but I think I like the next one even more. I miss the Danish forest, and the colours you have captured here are amazing. Just shows what a tripod can achieve. I think I read somewhere that there's no real point in using 50 ISO on the 5D, as it's not a real iso. In this case, I presume that means it would have worked just as well on 100 ISO and half the exposure time.

Wow, really lovely. I could look at this for ages. Suveræn flot.

Really love this one, the depth of field is excellent, as well as the color scheme. I like th treatment although it looks a bit " forced" . It's a beatiful dream

I love these woods shots. The DOF, the color scheme, and the fog in the background really give an interesting atmosphere...like a movie. Very spooky.

Wonderful atmosphere to this. Very nice.

    Hi Kenny,
Excellent, this looks just like a scene from a pc-game or a 3d animation.

    Cheers

This one just keeps you looking and looking some. Really sucks you into the scene, making you feel really a part of it.

    0 Sean

I almost wish you had titled this 'Anticipation'. As I stare into the trees, I keep waiting for a figure to pop out.

The cinematic qualities are superb. I like the 'impressed stillness' within the frame and the dimensional depth of the image adds to the comfortable errie atmosphere.

    Very nice scene...

Absolutely beautiful, the light is amazing. Love the balance between warm & cool colours. Reminds me a little of The Pond-Moonlight by Edward Steichen

    0 Mayuresh Patil

Totally Moodaholic! Love the animated look.

    0 Kenny

    Thanks!

Ásgarðr> Sure. All post-processing was done in RAW conversion - except a warming filter in Photoshop. Thats it. The 3D/composite/movie/dream effect is a combination of tripod (of course), the fog, the 1.8 stop with the 50mm and no sharpen to ruin the soft look.

    0 thomas mueller

a very moody image and well toned!

    0 Adrián

Good ambient! Where is this forest ?

    0 Tulna

This one has an amazing 3D quality.
I don't know how this was processed, but I love it... and can't stop looking at it.
I like the green-blue light mixed with the earthy tones in the foreground.

    Cool light in the woods.

    0 Xavier Rey

    beautiful light and colors !!

    0 Ásgarðr

Stunning picture. It looks unreal, like in a videogame/3d movie and I mean that as a compliment. The big tree right of center is also a very mysterious addition to the total fairytale like atmosphere.
How did you do this? Did you use external lightning or is this a lot of postprocessing? Care to share?
