Despite the positive feeling the carnival is supposed to personify, this image is full of doom and gloom. Very moody indeed.
Agree with the comments about this being a little creepy. But that is perfect. Great sky once again.

Wonderfully atmospheric shot. The muted colours against the dark sky are fabulous.
The only thing that bothers me is I'm seeing a whole sequence of white dots in the sky on the left hand side, is this deliberate? If so I'm not sure what the relevence is. I've also noticed them in the occasional previous image.Beautiful Sky and very good postprocessing.

Nice (& deep ;-) use of dodge/burn. Composition is just great, emphasizing that terrific sky and the combination of soft/desaturated colors. Definitely I love the render! How did you make that? (tone mapping I guess...). Cool color cast too!

Good worn colors suitable for the worn merry-go-round. Is it a travelling carnival or perhaps an abandoned one?

Wonderful black sky and patina of age in the roundabout.
I'm a nature photographer, so it takes a special image to capture and hold my attention outside that realm. This is such a picture. I love the tones and shadows--and that SKY! It's a great combination--lots of interesting details to appreciate. Good work, Kenny!

sometimes a carnival strikes me as sad and worn, like a faded childhood memory. Photos like these convey that emotion.
Was this taken in Fælledparken on the weekend Kenny? I was there myself. Can't say I noticed this, but I was with my kids and the camera was not with me. Lovely shot, and really nice muted toning.
Great shot Kenny. Something about this type of deal that is just creepy. The processing and the broken light make me wonder if you have a carnie shot in store.
