Awesome photograph, I really like the lighting and the emphasis on the child that you created. My name is Scott and I write for the Wallhogs Blog and we recently bean to feature photographers and their work on our blog. We would love to include you and your work. Nice photo with fantastic lightning and toning!

    0 Daniel

Beautiful shot. I like how the background is darkened making the kid stick out. Also like the tone used here.

    0 m

    nice light !!!

    Kenny,
This is a great shot and great work I see on this site. I love the use of Hdr and tone in many of these shots. Who do you use to host this blog. I love the layout

    0 Piet Osefius

A beautiful BW picture. The tones and light are great. Can you tell us something about the post processing technique you used.

    0 thall0s

Cool portrait... I guess I'd prefer less space at the top just to more emphasize his cute face. Or maybe by placing you on the belly just to keep those framing leafs on the top-left and the dramatic sky acting like a nice wallpaper. I think you know what I mean... but I'm losing myself anyway, you actually are the Artist ;-)

    0 Ashish Sidapara

Beautiful portrait, gotta love the tones!

    0 Maarten

nice portrait - great light on the little boy and nice processing !

    0 jonas

good work catching the moment with reflector and all.

    0 Kris [PiXistenZ]

So when is this Making-of-Moodaholic dvd going to be released? The reflector is doing a great job though.. i've been planning to get/make one for so long now, it's getting ridiculous :-)

    0 Kenny

Kris, you would see me on my knees praying for just a moment before him speeding off - while holding/fighting the reflector with the left hand. I think it might be on the video-tape ;)

    0 Kris [PiXistenZ]

Would be cool to see the mother's shot too. Then we can see Moodaholic in action! :-)

    0 thomas mueller

a very beautiful one and i like his wet nose. ;) but for me it would be better with the full hand and no cut.

    0 [terrorkitten]

A beautiful portrait and I like the tone you have applied as well. Phil

    0 David Chabashvili

    Good work!!!

Leave Kenny alone with the fingers thing :) All the photography rules are behind when you have such a face and eyes on the shot! Great work!

    0 lasiate

un portrait qui serait bien banal sans le traitement. Je suis d'accord avec les remarques sur les mains. Des photos superbes sur le reste du blog

    0 Kenny

Thanks. And yes, I agree about the rest of his hands. One of those moments you can't undo. The filmmaker in the background is the mother ;)

    0 Kris [PiXistenZ]

I love the processing and the light (reflector?), but indeed.. you should have included the fingers man!
Who's the photographer in the background? :-)

    0 Phil

    Definitively a good image !

0 Thomas Solberg / Project neXus

I think it's a different kind of portrait shot. And I like it! :-)

    0 Polly

i love that it looks like his nose is running. and i disagree with the detractors. i think this is phenomenal.

    0 Brad

The best thing I like about this is his facial expression. You've caught him so well, and that is what I consider the best part of photography, the composing and timing of the shot. That might be because I don't know squat about post processing. :-)

    0 crash

    very cool !!!!!! eerily cool!!

    0 Peter F

I like the surreal lighting. Like if Edward Scissorhands had been filmed in sepia.

    0 Michael Rawluk

Love the shot. The tones. The dramatic sky. Looks more like a reflector was used than fill flash.
    Nice job.

    0 clarence

This looks like you used flash to fill the foreground, along with the sunlight on his face, it is a very good image.

    0 spanssnaps

For me it's a little bit overdone. The difference between the figure and the background is too big fot me.

    0 What The Heck Journal

Looks very good. The only thing I can point fingers at is the cropping of his fingers.
    Lovely lighting though.
