Love the pale reflection on the surf, and the softness of the dune plants. And that ominous sky - ! Beautiful.

    0 Pris

For me, it's a meditation. You've caught the sea and the clouds in a moment of time, but they will move on. Your photo holds them in that moment. I love it. Thank you.

    0 Jice

Sorry, but for me this picture just looks like thousands of other ones. You have much more better pictures on your blog.

    0 Ralf Stelander

Hej! I'm an enthusiast from Sweden. I just have to get over that bridge to get great shots like these, right? Very dramatic sky! You sure know how to capture a feeling on "film". If you would like to contribute something to my site for artistic photographers I would be really happy!

    0 lemmingstone

Nice post after a break. I've read the other comments and I think this is a great, simple, reflective image. Good job.

    0 Barcelona Photoblog

I like it. Simple and free. Soft colors and lots of space to visually wander around it.

    0 Steve @ rigger.ca

This shot doesn;t really do much for me. I too find there is a lack of focal point. It just doesn't inspire me. Sorry.

    0 Antonio Melao

    Amazing sharpness!

    0 anton

    Great atmosphere to this.

    0 Rodion Kovenkin

I like the light on the sand so much... Great done man! Fantastic..

    0 Jon Swainson

Welcome to the coast huggers club ;)
Very dramatic this, I like it.

    0 Erik

Oh! Where did the black background go? White is nice, but I'd like to switch betwenn light and dark. I recently added this feature to my blog and it's quite usefuld.

Besides: This shot's speciality is the reflection of the sunlight in the wet sand infront of you!

    0 pinto

    Very beautiful shot.

    0 riesenriel

Really impressive wide view of this place. Good you're back ;-)

    0 Claude

    Wonderful seascape and impressive sky.

    0 flawijn

the cold water was apperently worth the shot. Quite minimal and sober for a Moodaholic shot, but a goodie as 'comeback' ;-)

    0 ATZUCAC

al.leluia! Kenny is coming back! :-) We missed you !
    Great, that shot!

    0 Ryano

This is my first time on your website and I want to say that your photos are very inspiring and are of excellent quality. Especially this one very moody sky

    0 Anne-Laure

    Nice landscape !!

    0 Oscar

    very nice setting.
    very clean..

    0 PhotoSam

love the "cleanness" of the shot if u get my drift....and the mood it sends out...

    0 pyknite

wouahhh very nice shot...where is it?

    0 .:CushmoK:.

    nice shot indeed...

    0 Beau

Nice shot, man. I really like the band of red/orange light just above the horizon and the light shining in the water in the foreground.

    0 brita

the streak of light on the beach and across the wave is beautiful - difficult t know where it's coming from with those dark clouds

    0 Gavin

Really glad your back! The comment count on the last image was insane hah. Loving the composition here, i think the right handside really helps draw the eye into the shot. Excellent.

    0 boje

Well, I really like this and I often seem to take photos that quite conspicuously lack obvious focal points... Taste, I guess (or lack of inspiration ;) ?).

Kenny, any chance of you letting me use your template? I'm starting a new blog, and I'm looking to have a template very similar to this, with minor alterations. What do you reckon? Obviously I'll provide a link and all that. It'd be much appreciated.

    0 Kenny

    Thanks!

Kris> I'm not sure about that, hmmm - thanks anyway for a moment of your thoughts ;)

Martin> I know what you mean. It is not comparable to any recent posts with imaginary titles and moods. I do wan't to try something more simple (in absence of great ideas at the moment) and most importantly, a more natural take on the post-process - no Photoshop. This one is only RAW-converted with slight adjustments. Thanks for your critique!

    0 Martin

I have seen so much images from you that I can tell that you are able to do that way better. Hope that crituque is ok for you. So, what I miss in here is some focal point to look at, somethink special. Maybe you wanted to give your readers something different, more minimalistic overall.. Then I would look at this in a dirrerent way and would say that the line in here is well done. Greetings from Germany, Martin

    0 What The Heck Journal

Nice to see you finally got outside to put them filters to work.
I have to agree with Kris on the cropping. I think that would have looked great.
    - Martin

    0 Kris [PiXistenZ]

Kenny, it's a really great shot. I think you could have made it even better by cropping the left side off, so that there would be more emphasis on that incredible reflection in the water, close to the sand. A square format would have been perfect for this, try it out and let me know if you don't agree, i'm curious!

    0 enjoy

    Nice shot, great colours!

    0 Sergio

It looks like my Menorca in winter time.
Keep up the good job as you did last year!

    0 Krikke

About time... the sky here looks cold, yes. Nice beach.

"Very moody shot. The bright spots draw the attention of the viewer."
