Well actually this is roman architecture. Gothic architecture has pointy arches and a lot more vertical articulation and decoration. But that's not really on topic, just a great picture, composition and like what-the-heck-martin said, kind of reminds me of your first images.
The angle and composition are outstanding! I totally love the shadows on the wall and window at the right side of the photo. Brilliant!
