A small journey today with Martin (What The Heck), we spotted several old american cars. Here is one...

JD> Thanks for the input, but I can't see the lack of contrast? But I know exactly what you mean, though more contrast here would ruin the softness of the light - I think. Tried it before posting.

I think we have found 4-5 of these old americanos this year.burning sky... very nice! you guys seem to share an intrest in old American cars? Or are all the Denmark fields covered with those old-timers?? ;-)

A feast of colours here, and the textures on the weathered truck are a find.
Loveely picture, perfect subject in a great setting. The gorgeous streak of colour in the sky adds a whole new dimension.
I love this - as it stands the old truck sitting in the grass looks good, it's a great composition. But with that streak of light in the clouds it looks superb.

cool subject! not sure whether you've done it justice with the HDR tho.... the lack of contrast and shadows really irritates me (not neccessaraly this shot, but more the whole of HDR)!
I think the slower time not only helps with DOF but really soaks the color into the film. I'd love to see this same thing after cooking for a couple secs.

The two of you did it again... I didn't think we had wrecks like these sitting around in nature. Martin's shot and your's go together great. The post-processing is very different in the two images, though. I love how this one might just as well have been taken in Wyoming or elsewhere in the USA.
